Psalm 100  The Message Paraphrase
    On your feet now—applaud God!
    Bring a gift of laughter,
    sing yourselves into his presence.
  Know this: God is God!
God made us; we didn’t make him.
We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.
Enter with the password: “Thank you!”
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
    Thank him. Worship him.
  For God is sheer beauty,
    all-generous in love,
    loyal always and ever.
This Wednesday, we invite you to claim a few moments at lunch time, in the evening, or perhaps at the family dinner table to thank God for the gift of life and your many blessings.  As the psalmist reminds us,  "God is sheer beauty!"   Where do you see the beauty of God in our world?   God is "all-generous in love!"   Where do you see God's love being poured out in your life?   God is "loyal always and ever."  God will not leave you, nor forsake you.  God is always with us tending us and guiding us.  An attitude of gratitude is good medicine and often the remedy to the "funks" we find ourselves falling in.
We are so grateful to be your pastors and to see God's beauty living and shining in each of you.
